Cross-country team trained hard and joined forces for epic obstacle race effort.

Staff of a Gwynedd-based company from all over the UK came together recently to take on the renowned Tough Mudder race in Skipton, Yorkshire.

Raising funds for our hospices, the squad from CDL Partitions Ltd completed the 10 mile, 23 obstacle course and brought in a brilliant £6,000 through their sponsors.

Mud, sweat and cheers were the order of the day

Proud moment

CDL Managing Director, Bob Chamberlain said: "I wanted to say a massive thanks to all our sponsors and competitors for a brilliant day.

"All the lads had trained hard but some were rightly very nervous, it was a daunting scene when you stood on the hill and viewed the course. To overcome 23 obstacles over 10 miles of rough terrain, amazing.

"The sun shone and everyone gave their all. We were all enormously impressed with the turn out, enthusiasm and great team effort to raise more that £6k for a brilliant charity."

So grateful

Our Gwynedd area fundraiser, Jenny Roberts, said: "What a fantastic effort by the team. Not just the event, but all the preparation and travelling too. We're so grateful for such a generous gesture and total raised. Thank you so much, CDL and Drywall Dragons."
