Shropshire-based document management company EvaStore has raised an impressive £8,000 at its seventh annual Charity Golf Day - the most successful event in the company’s fundraising history.

Held at Oswestry Golf Club, the event drew participants and sponsors from across the region, all united in support of providing vital care and support to children with life-threatening conditions and their families.

A Milestone Year

Patrick Evans, Managing Director of EvaStore, commented:

“This is a milestone year for us. To break the £8,000 mark is something we’re incredibly proud of. The support from local businesses, our clients, and the team at Oswestry Golf Club has been overwhelming. We’re honoured to continue supporting Hope House and the essential work they do.”

The previous record stood at £5,000, making this year’s total a significant leap forward.

During the cheque presentation, Pat Evans and EvaStore Sales Manager Bryn Monk met with our Area Fundraiser Vicky Bradbeer to mark the occasion.

The photo opportunity also showcased EvaStore’s brand-new sponsor sign on the 8th tee at Oswestry Golf Club. As part of an ongoing pledge, the company has committed to donating for every birdie scored on the 8th hole over the next 12 months.

Vicky said:

“We are so grateful to Patrick and all of the EvaStore team for hosting their golf day for the 7th year and for raising such an incredible amount to support the children and families we care for across Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales. We rely heavily on local businesses and communities to help us raise the £10 Million that we need every year, so we really appreciate their continued support. A big thank you to everyone who took part and made it such a great day.”

EvaStore has been a longstanding supporter of Hope House, with over £30,000 raised through its events and initiatives over the years.
