A community music festival held this summer near Mold raised a brilliant amount!

The Wild Acre Festival was hosted by Tom Roberts on his land and featured live music from a range of local bands and singers market stalls, bar and fun for the whole family in aid of our hospices.

On Saturday August 23rd hundreds of people turned out to support the event and raise £5,000 helped to raise a fantastic amount for two local causes, both very close to Tom’s heart.

Community Spirit

Fundraiser Nicky Eyes, who was supporting the event, said: “We’re so grateful to Tom for adopting us as his chosen charity one of his chosen charities and donating £5,000 of the proceeds to Hope House Ty Gobaith.

“The community spirit and turn-out was fantastic.

“The amazing sum raised will benefit so many local children with life-threatening conditions and their families.

“Thanks Tom.”
