Healthcare Matters Generous Donation Caring staff from Wrexham’s Healthcare Matters came up with a great idea to help us support local children and families living with a life-threatening condition. Jack Cusack and Katherine Matthias from the firm who specialise in the installation of disabled adaptations and specialist seating, explained: “As part of ethos we love to support local charities and give back to the community. “We decided to ask our staff to bag-up and donate good quality clothing and household items to donate to the Hope House Ty Gobaith shop on Island Green. “Over a two week period we managed to collect 15 large bags full of goods which can now be sold at the store.” Fundraiser Bethan Young welcomed the pair to our Wrexham shop along with store manager, Michael Derry to receive the goods and thank the Healthcare Matters team. Bethan said: “This is a great idea and an easy way for companies to use their charity day or just exercise some corporate social responsibility. “We’d really like to encourage more firms in the area to come up with creative ways to support the local children and families we do with respite care, nursing care and emotional support. “Thank you so much to the Healthcare Matters team, we’re really grateful.” Corporate Support Could your business come up with a creative way to support our mission to reach every child in the area with a life threatening condition?Find Out More Manage Cookie Preferences
