Little Bus Big Ride's Amazing Journey An unforgettable journey, a heartwarming visit, and over £10,000 raised! We’re sending a huge, heartfelt thank you to brothers Will, Andrew, and James Emerton, who took on an extraordinary journey from Land’s End to John O’Groats in their lovingly restored 1948 Johnstones Midget Bus – all to raise funds for our hospices. A Labour of Love The Emerton brothers, who took on the 1,000 mile trip in a bus with a top speed of just 12mph, have raised over £10,000 for local children and families. Their adventure was part of their family business’ 100-year celebration – and what a way to mark a century! This wasn’t just a fundraising feat – it was a true labour of love. The brothers restored the tiny vintage bus themselves, and despite its previous longest journey being only five miles, they drove it the length of the UK over the course of eight days! A Special Visit To top it all off, the brothers brought their brilliant bus to our hospice for a special visit – and the children absolutely loved it. Seeing their faces light up as they explored the miniature bus was magical. From everyone here, thank you Will, Andrew, and James – your creativity, determination, and generosity mean the world to us and the families we support. Manage Cookie Preferences
