Many families who use our services live a significant distance from the hospice. Those who do not drive or have access to an adapted vehicle rely on our support with transport so that they can get to appointments that ensure their child’s complex symptoms are well-managed.

In addition, we plan special days out which provide opportunities for the children and young people in our care to travel beyond their immediate community and enjoy experiences that others may take for granted.

A safe and reliable adapted vehicle is essential for this. However, our minibus is out of use, with a broken rear lift that is costly to repair.

With your support we will purchase a new bus as soon as possible, making services accessible and reducing isolation for the children and families in our care.
