£12,000 raised by Let's Do Dinner campaign Home cooks, hungry diners and celebrity chefs have served up a pan-tastic £12,000 in funds. Under our Let’s Do Dinner campaign, we have benefited from the amazing amount which was the proceeds from private dinner parties and public foodie functions filled with fun and games. With events across North Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire a great variety of food was enjoyed from Hog Roasts and Craft Beer to cooking over the coals at renowned chef Adam Purnell’s Embers restaurant – there really was something for everyone. Our Mold Friends Group had a wonderful time at The Gathering Cafe In only its second year of running, the Let’s Do Dinner campaign is organised by fundraiser, Vanessa Marubbi who said: “Wow! What a great year, we’re bowled over by the kindness of our supporters and the generosity of the chefs and venues who hosted events for us. “We got off to a great start when Ainsley Harriot helped us out with a fantastic video and a delicious dessert recipe. “Our Friends groups in Corwen and Mold have really done us proud too with a combined £3,000 coming from them alone. Jack, Harry and Megan help staff celebrate and thank our supporters Big events “The events at Embers restaurant in Shropshire and the Craft Beer Cave near Llandudno were both huge successes and enjoyed by almost 200 people. “A huge thank you to every person who took part in any event no matter how big or small, we really appreciate you all and can’t wait to see what you cook-up next year.” Manage Cookie Preferences
