Our amazing supporters raised £22,000 during the Anglesey Abseil 2026.

On Saturday May 9^th, the 65-strong brave bunch took the plunge down the iconic 89ft tall Marquis of Anglesey Column in Llanfairpwll.

With participants coming from as far as Yorkshire, kind sponsorship from local businesses and a good dose of sunshine, the event was a great success.

Our fundraiser and event organiser, Nikki Sullivan shared: “Wow, what a day!

“We are incredibly proud of our brave Anglesey abseilers and so grateful for the money they have raised.

“Along with the sponsors Hogan, Mona Lifting, Dragon Security, Môn Fire Management and Howdens, we want to thank Go Vertical for being such professionals and helping the event go so smoothly.

“Every penny raised will go directly to help us provide care and respite to local families and children living with a life-threatening condition.

“We can’t thank the venue enough either for their generosity and delicious food.

“You’re all amazing.”
