Bangor shop team goes head-to-head in fundraising challenge The gloves are definitely “ON” in our Bangor store… As part of the £50 Challenge, manager and assistant manager are pitted against each other to see who can raise the most money. The shop’s 20 volunteers will all select a side – will they be Team Cat or Team Coren? As the challenge runs throughout April, the teams will be hosting fundraising activities – but, to spice things up a little bit, the losing team will have to perform a forfeit chosen by the winners. And of course, in true Hope House Tŷ Gobaith style, there’ll be a cake for the winners. Manager Cat and Assistant Manager Coren face off with Bangor’s longest serving volunteer Tom Kirkham refereeing Manager Cat Atherton said: “We thought it would be a great idea to encourage some team spirit and with some healthy competition. And as always, raise money for the beautiful children at the heart of it all. “We’re building our teams behind the scenes as we speak and plotting ideas to outdo each other.” Assistant Manager Coren Peck is feeling confident and said: “We’ve a great team of volunteers here of all ages and experiences, so I’m sure it’ll be a close competition. “But, the cake is coming to Team Coren for sure.” £50 Challenge How would you invest £50 to raise money to help local children with life-threatening conditions live their best life?
