Bolesworth Castle To Host First Cheshire Dark Run The stunning grounds of Bolesworth, Cheshire are gearing up to host family fun Dark Run. On the evening of Saturday October 25th, Bolesworth – the historic Cheshire estate renowned for hosting world-class equestrian competitions, live concerts and spectacular public events – will provide the backdrop for the colourful and family-friendly Dark Run in aid of local children with life-threatening conditions. Proudly sponsored by RUK Group, the Dark Run is an evening 5k or 2.5k fun run, walk or even dance where participants are encouraged to wear bright, neon or even spooky Halloween costumes. With a lit course and energetic group warm-up, the event promises fun for all the family whilst raising funds to support local children living with a life-threatening condition. Set to the soundtrack of upbeat music and passing through many historic sights, the course offers a night to remember with a great cause at its heart. Please note no dogs allowed. Pre-booking is essential, and registration opens at 5.30pm on the night with the warm-up at 6.10pm ready for a 6.30pm start. There is plenty of on-site parking and the route is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs, please note there is a small hill.
