Brave skydivers raise thousands Our brave supporters took to the skies to raise £7,500 to support local children and their families. The skydive took place at Tilstock Airfield near Whitchurch, Shropshire, on Saturday 25th April with nine daring divers tumbling thousands of feet from a plane before parachuting safely back to the ground. The money raised will help Hope House and Ty Gobaith continue to provide specialist care and support to children with life‑threatening conditions and their families across Shropshire, Cheshire and Wales. Our fundraising manager, Cat Dowdeswell, said: “We are incredibly grateful to every single person who took part in the skydive. It’s a daring challenge and shows just how far people are willing to go to support local children and families. “The £7,500 raised will make a real difference in helping children living with life-threatening conditions and their families to live their best life.” She added: “Seeing our supporters take that leap is always inspiring, and you can still join our next skydive in September, although places are limited so book fast to avoid disappointment.” Sign-ups are now open for thrill‑seekers to fly high on Saturday 12th September 2026, once again at Tilstock Airfield.
