The Network She group in North Wales held an event during their May meeting

We’re absolutely delighted to share that, thanks to the incredible generosity of our amazing supporters and bakers, over £15,000 has been raised during our launch week!

A huge thank you goes out to our wonderful sponsors, Henllan Craft Bakers, for making this event possible. With more than 120 coffee mornings, bake sales, and afternoon teas hosted, it’s been truly inspiring to witness our community come together in such a meaningful way.

From friends and colleagues to students and neighbours, so many joined in for a slice (or two!) of cake and gave generously to help fund the expert nursing and respite care that allows local children with life-threatening conditions to live their best life.

Turning Cake Into Care

Lead fundraiser of the campaign, Sian Golding, said: “We just love our Let’s Eat Cake campaign and can’t thank Henllan Craft Bakers enough for being this year’s sponsor.

“By hosting an event, people are really showing they care and are contributing to us helping seriously ill children and families to live their best lives and make precious lasting memories.

“It really does turn cake into care.
