A team will be dancing not just the night away but a whole 24-hours as they take on a dance-a-thon at Hope House for Quality Moments Matter.

The team, which includes our Director of Care Karen Wright, Hope House Head of Care Hayley Woodcock, Acting Head of HR Claire Lewis and Head of Finance Rachel Pimm-Jones and Head of Family Support and Therapies at Hope House Laura Prescott, will be pulling on their finest 80s gear and taking on the epic dance challenge, and will be joined by some of the children as well as people across the organisation throughout the 24-hours.

Quality Moments Matter

For Quality Moments Matter we want to raise £400,000 over 36-hours on 17th and 18th November, to bring fun and joy to the lives of every local child with a life-threatening condition.

We want them all to have access to adventures and the chance to giggle, play and thrive. To never be told that things are impossible because they are ill, but instead to be surrounded by specialist nurses and therapists who help them to overcome challenges and provide opportunities to have the best quality of life possible.

Sponsor the team

The dance crew will start on the Sunday of Quality Moments Matter, finishing 24 hours later, just before Big Night Live, the finale of the campaign and everything raised will be magically DOUBLED!

Rachel said: “We have set ourselves an extremely difficult target of the full 24 hours and therefore we’ve set a challenging financial target too!

“We hope to raise £2,500 which will be doubled to £5,000 thanks to the Quality Moments Matter, this would be an amazing achievement.”

During the weekend everything raised is DOUBLED thanks to a pot of match funding pledged by local businesses meaning ONE DONATION, TWICE THE IMPACT!
