A ballet and tap dance instructor jumped for joy after scooping our lottery jackpot.

Emma Knox, who had been signed-up to our weekly draw for two years, said: “It was thrilling to get the call to say I’d won £1,000.

“It was a Friday afternoon, and I was at a friend’s house having a party for the kids when my phone rang.

“I couldn’t believe it; everybody was over the moon.”

Treat

Emma owns the Elite Studios in Mynydd Isa, Flintshire where she was also celebrating 20 years in business.

The mother of two was even able to enjoy a short break with her winnings after ploughing so much energy into building up her business and raising her children.

“I went to Barcelona to celebrate a good friend’s 40th birthday, which was a lovely treat,” said Emma.

Just £1 per week

The lottery costs just £1 a week to play and raises £1.4million of the £10million we need to provide the specialist nursing care and support to more than 750 children, and their families, who live in Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales.

“We’re so happy for Emma and grateful of her continued weekly support that allows us to keep providing quality moment of joy and priceless memories for children and families living with a life-threatening condition.”
