A New Outlet Concept Store Arrives in Flint A colourful new chapter in sustainable fashion has opened on Flintshire Retail Park, with the launch of our newly transformed Hope House Tŷ Gobaith Outlet store. The Grand Opening! Officially opened by the Mayor of Flint, Cllr Russell Davies and Mayoress, Cllr Norma Davies on Saturday 31st May, the store has undergone a stylish refit to create a fresh and exciting shopping experience for local customers. Featuring a bright, easy-to-navigate layout, the store is now laid out by colour-coded price zones, with affordable pre-loved items from just £1 to £5, and a few hand-picked treasures at higher price points. Cllr Russell Davies says “It was a real honour to open the newly revamped Hope House Tŷ Gobaith store in Flint. This fantastic new outlet not only offers great fashion at affordable prices but also plays a vital role in supporting local families through the hospice’s incredible work. I encourage everyone to pop in, grab a bargain, and support this life-changing charity.” Lindy Welch-Smart, our Retail Operations & Trading Manager, says the new format is designed to offer amazing value while making the most of generous donations: “At the heart of what we do is always the care of seriously ill children and their families and we are committed to making the most of every donation we receive. “We are focused on reducing the amount of saleable textiles we send for recycling and want to offer our Flintshire customers the opportunity to shop for quality clothing and much more, at a fantastic price. “Our loyal customers and donors help us raise a huge portion of what we need to provide the care and are excited by this new trial concept in Flint and hope the local community enjoy it as much as we do.” Our charity supports over 750 children and their families living with life-threatening conditions across North and Mid Wales, Cheshire, and Shropshire. It takes over £10 million per year to run the hospices, with only two months of annual funding coming from statutory sources, our shops play a crucial role in generating the income we need.
