Gamers and streamers from around Wales and the globe have downloaded a huge donation.

The fourth annual Dathlu Gaming Cymru event led chiefly by Llandudno's John Harper (aka Johnny Beard) held it's fourth annual live 36hr streaming event on St David's Day, March 1st.

Either all based in Wales, or with Welsh roots, a total of 58 streaming content creators provided the day-long festival of entertainment and encouraged their followers to donate to our hospices.

Johnny Beard, said: "Dathlu Gaming Cymru was a tremendous success, having raised over £18,600 for the hospices this year.

"It brings our total to £45,000 over the last four years.

"We believe we've made history by having 58 Welsh streamers take part in a Welsh charity streaming event on St David's Day.

Proud

"We're proud of the growth of our event which continues to strengthen each year and provide essential funds to help as many children with life threatening illnesses as we can.

"It wouldn't be possible without the Welsh streamers, their communities, and the love and support of everyone at Hope House Tŷ Gobaith. Diolch o galon."

Thanks

Fundraising team leader Andy Everley, said: "The contribution that Dathlu Gaming Cymru make to our hospices really can't be underestimated.

"What these kind streamers and gamers raise for us in just 36hrs is truly incredible.

"Their generosity will ensure we can continue on our mission to reach every local child and family living with a life threatening condition.

"Thank you so much everybody."
