The GMF Cup 2025 at Quinta do Lago has raised an astonishing £57,458 to help support local children with life-threatening conditions and their families.

The three-day event was filled with golf, generosity, and great camaraderie. After two nail-biting days of pairs matches, it all came down to the singles - and Team Hope pulled through with a 10-3 victory on the final day, taking the overall win 15-12 against Team GMF.

‘A Force For Good’

The GMF Cup has become much more than a golf tournament. Every drive, putt, and bid in the charity auction helps raise vital funds, and this year’s event showed the power of friendship, teamwork, and kindness in action.

GM Fundraising shared:
“From the players and support team to the sponsors, supporters, and everyone who bid so generously in the auction - thank you. Your kindness and commitment mean the world, and every pound raised will make a life-changing difference. Together, we’ve proved once again that golf is more than just a game - it’s a force for good.”

Our Head of Fundraising, Alison Marsh, added:
“We are absolutely blown away by this incredible total. £57,458 will go such a long way in helping local children with life-threatening conditions to live their best lives. We can’t thank GM Fundraising and everyone involved in the GMF Cup enough.”

Celebrating Friendship And Generosity

The GMF Cup is not just about sport, but about the people who come together to make it special. Players, sponsors, and supporters all played their part, creating an atmosphere of friendship and fun while raising funds that will have a lasting impact.

A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who made this year’s event such a success. Together, you’ve created memories on the course - and precious moments for local children off it.

Thank You!
