We are excited to launch our tastiest fundraiser of 2025 with Henllan Bakery.

The bakers who have been proudly making craft bread, cakes and savoury goods in Wales since 1908 have risen to the challenge of being our headline sponsor for Let’s Eat Cake week.

Running from 19^th-25^th May, Let’s Eat Cake is your chance to get together with loved ones and colleagues and host your own charity cake sale or coffee morning.

By having some fun in the kitchen and getting creative with your bakes, every slice or muffin will make a real difference to local families living with a child who has a life-threatening condition.

“We employ 136 local staff and supply hundreds of small businesses as well as larger supermarkets in Wales.

“We’re delighted to get on board and lend our support to all the fantastic workplaces, schools, colleges, café’s and individuals who get involved for this wonderful charity.”

Launch

To help launch the annual event, the super cute and cheeky Tŷ Gobaith Tiger visited the bakery itself to see where the delicious produce is made and see how they still hand-decorate all their sweet treats.

Fundraiser Sian Golding is leading on the campaign and supervised the Tiger, she said: “We’ve had so much fun visiting Henllan Bakery and seeing where the magic happens.

“We are so thankful they have partnered with us as they’re the perfect fit and have been incredibly generous.

“Whether you bake it or fake it this year, let’s all get together and turn cake into care for local children and families.”
