Dig out your torches, glow sticks and favourite fancy dress to join hundreds of people taking part in one of our five Dark Runs this coming October.

Walk, jog or run your way through our 3-5k glow-in-the-dark courses, complete with music, glow sticks, and cheering crowds - all in support of local families who need us most. We’ve got a shorter event option too for little legs!

Light Up The Night For Local Children 

Bethan Young, fundraiser for Hope House, said: “The Dark Runs are always magical evenings where our supporters come together and light up the night and raise money to help local children with life-threatening conditions to live their best life. 

“We can’t wait to welcome hundreds of dark runners for a night of fun and fundraising. 

“It costs £10 million a year to run the services at our hospices, with no charge ever made to families for accessing our services. 

“We can only be here for the children and families that need us the most thanks to the wonderful supporters that take part in our events like our Dark Runs.

Five Location

Hope House is hosting five Dark Run events in 2025 across North Wales, Cheshire and Shropshire at Chirk Castle, Bolesworth Castle, Penrhyn Castle, Telford Town Park and Conwy Quay.

Registration is £15 per adult and £5 per child. Entrants are asked to arrive for 5.30 in plenty of time for a fun warm up at 6.10pm. The starting claxon will send families on their way at 6.30pm. All participants receive a fabulous goodie bag and glow-in-the-dark medal at the end.
