Our biggest ever team takes on London Marathon Our biggest ever team will be taking on the London Marathon this year with runners proudly wearing our colours as they tackle one of the world’s most famous races. Our team includes those who have been cared for at Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith, some of our dedicated staff and our wonderful supporters who are all coming together to raise money. The TCS London Marathon takes place on Sunday, 26th April, and on the lead up to the big day our team are going to be raising as much money as they can and dedicating themselves to training as hard as they can to be able to cross that finishing line on The Mall. We also have a smaller team who will be challenging themselves to complete the Virtual London Marathon on the same day, although they will be picking their own routes. At Hope House and Ty Gobaith we’re all cheering them on – but if you would like to find out more about our runners and to sponsor them then please see all their profiles below: Sian Roberts Sian will be running in memory of her son Leo who died suddenly in 2023. “In the midst of our heartbreak, Hope House gave us the care, compassion, and support we so desperately needed to begin piecing our lives back together. I’ll be representing Hope House at the London Marathon 2026.” Sponsor Sian Sean McCarthy Sean, from Shrewsbury, is challenging himself to raise as much money as possible to say thank you for the care his son Theo and the rest of the family receive at Hope House. “I am looking forward to wearing Hope House colours and I know that seeing Theo at Tower Bridge will really spur me on.” Sponsor Sean Elisha Ratcliffe Our supporter, Elisha said: “I’ve chosen to fundraise for Tŷ Gobaith and Hope House because of the incredible work they do supporting children and families when they need it most.
