We are so excited to announce our plans to open a new and bigger shop in Nantwich town centre.

Our 14 shops across Shropshire, Cheshire and Wales help to provide vital care and support for local children with life-threatening conditions. Together they raise nearly £1 million each year towards the £10 million needed to fund care for every child in need.

The new Nantwich store will open this November in premises on Swine Market which was formerly occupied by B&M. Work will begin shortly to make over the store and bring the best of the Hope House retail brand to the space.

Hope House Retail & Trading Operations Manager Lindy Welch-Smart said the new location is three times the size of the charity’s existing store on nearby High Street, which would be closing, and would generate one new job for the town as well as more volunteering opportunities.

“We already have incredible support in Nantwich from people who bring us donations of stock and who shop with us,” explained Lindy.

“This exciting new store will give us much more space to display our pre-loved fashion and homeware.

“It will also be a fantastic environment for our staff and volunteers, and we are hoping that even more people will be tempted to join our family and help us to run the shop.

“People are changing the way they are shopping and, consequently, we have had some of our best trading weeks on record.

“We are really proud to be investing in Nantwich and in our retail operation at this time, and are confident that this will help us to raise even more money to fund our vital services for local children and their families.”

The current shop on High Street will continue to remain open for supporters to make donations and shop until the new shop opens. The new shop will be recruiting more volunteers and a new Sales Assistant.
