They recently had the Zelda N64 video game donated, and thanks to an eagle-eyed staff member, it raised a whopping £2,000.Assistant manager Ben Milford was on duty when the generous donor came in and handed over the goods. He shared: “Upon receiving the donation I immediately began to research in online forums to determine the game’s authenticity and value. “We were shocked to find that it was estimated at £1,500. “I immediately started receiving offers in one of the forums and in no time at all someone wanted to buy it for the total value. “When the kind buyer discovered it was for a children’s hospice, he wanted to round it up to a brilliant £2,000. “We could not believe it. What a generous thing to do!” Cult hit Known for her magical powers, Zelda is a cult figure in computer game world. The series of games has a huge worldwide following and a series of industry awards from the likes of Golden Joystick and the Japan Game Awards.
