They were supported by Leanne Secker, Rob’s wife and Charlie’s mum. Titled Secker’s Sea to Summit Walk, the 30-mile trek took place on Friday April 18th in some very wet and windy conditions. The brave team managed the walk in 11hrs. Rob said: “The weather was really against us, but we made it to the top. “Everybody knew why they were there and we just pushed through and got it done. “We raised over £1,600 in total and were happy to donate half to Tŷ Gobaith for all the help and support they gave us.” They Took Care Of Everything Charlie and his family at Tŷ Gobaith Charlie Secker was just five years old when he died in December 2024 after suffering with a very aggressive and rare brain tumour. Mum, Leanne said: “We never thought we’d need support from a hospice. “But without Tŷ Gobaith things would have been impossible. “They took care of everything and just let us be with Charlie.” Tŷ Gobaith fundraiser, Sian Golding has been supporting the Secker family in their fundraising and said: “Rob and Leanne are so incredibly strong and with the support of their close friends and family completed a really challenging walk for the hospices. “We are so grateful for their efforts.” Fundraise In Memory Would you like to fundraise in memory of a loved one?
