Law firm help secure future care We are delighted to announce the support of national law firm Slater and Gordon. The legal experts have come on board with a generous donation that will fund family events at Tŷ Gobaith this year and, crucially, will help fund one of our incredible nurses at Hope House. In addition, specialist lawyers from the firm will provide legal clinics for families, hospice staff and the wider hospice community. These sessions will help ensure people feel informed and empowered about their rights in areas such as family law, education, employment law and clinical negligence. Our Fundraising Development Lead, Vanessa Marubbi, said: “We are delighted to partner with Slater and Gordon. We are incredibly grateful for their support, which will help fund our family days at Tŷ Gobaith and contribute towards the cost of one of our Band C nurses at Hope House. “This generosity makes a real and lasting difference to the children and families who rely on Hope House and Tŷ Gobaith. It helps us create precious moments, provide specialist care, and ensure families have the support they need during the most difficult times.” Parents like Kate benefit so much from our family days Kate Sweeney, Principal Lawyer at Slater and Gordon, said: “Hope House Children’s Hospice supports so many families during unimaginably difficult times, while also providing children with bespoke therapies and interventions to give them the best possible quality of life. “This work is invaluable for parents whose children will sadly not go on to live long lives, but the difference these amazing hospices make during their time together is priceless. “We are very pleased to partner with Hope House Children’s Hospice to support both the organisation and the families they work with in as many ways as possible.” Manage Cookie Preferences
