Are you brave enough to slip on your dancing shoes and take part in this years Strictly Shropshire?

The event, run by Shropshire-based Dance HQ, is returning in November 2025 as part of our Quality Moments Matter campaign.

But time is running out for anyone wanting to register their interest to take part in the competition, which will this year have a movie theme.

Ross Millar, who runs Dance HQ, said: “Strictly Shropshire is always an incredible and fun event which sees dancers of all abilities compete for the trophy.

“We are once again this year doing this to support Hope House Children’s Hospices Quality Moments Matter campaign. This year we would love to take our total fundraising for the charity to more than £100,000.”

Learn From The Professionals

Dancers will get lessons from one of the Dance HQ professionals to learn their routines ahead of curtains up at a live show at the Lion Quays Hotel on November 28^th.

“Whether you’re a total novice or know a few moves you can apply to take part in Strictly Shropshire, all you need to do is register your interest with me on email and I will be in touch,” said Ross.

“If you are a solo dancer we will match you with a professional to dance with on the night, and if you are a couple, one of our professionals will work with you on your routine. Everyone who has signed up to take part in past years has loved it and we can’t wait to see who comes forward this year.”
