Let's Eat Cake is back for 2026 We are cooking up our most delicious campaign of the year and turning cake into care. With kind sponsorship from Henllan Bakery we are today launching our Let’s Eat Cake week 2026, which will run May 18th-25th. Together, we are urging you to get gather loved ones and colleagues to host your own charity cake sale or coffee morning. By having some fun in the kitchen and getting creative with your bakes, every slice or muffin will make a real difference to local families living with a child who has a life-threatening condition. Support Henllan, based in Denbigh, have been craft making bread, cakes and savoury goods in Wales since 1908. Director of Henllan Bakery, Ainslie Edwards, said: "We are delighted to again be supporting Hope House's Let’s Eat Cake campaign in 2026. “All of us here at Henllan Bakery will be joining in this May and hope everyone joins us in supporting this wonderful cause." Excited Officially launching the event was a very excited hospice mascot, Hope House Hippo, who was treated to a tour of the Denbigh factory where the cakes are still decorated by hand. Our fundraiser Bethan Young is leading on the campaign, she said: “Henllan are just the perfect partners for Let’s Eat Cake. “Not only are their bakes delicious, but they share our family values and give so much back to the community. “Let’s get together this May and whether you fake it or bake it, turn cake into care for local children and families living with a life-threatening condition.” Everyone who takes part in Let’s Eat Cake week will have the support of their local fundraiser who will be on hand with promotional materials and tips to ensure your cake sale is a sweet success.
