Shop volunteer Caroline in swimming challenge Our inspirational shop volunteer Caroline is currently taking on a swimming challenge to help raise vital funds. Caroline, who lives with cerebral palsy, volunteers her free time at our Nantwich shop, and has also been swimming with Seahorse Swimming Club in Crewe for five years now. The club encourages people with disabilities to gain confidence in the water, learn to swim and develop their skills. This is ideal for Caroline as she has limited use of her left arm and leg. Into 2026 Caroline started her challenge in September 2025 and will continue it weekly into 2026 – her goal is to swim 20 lengths of a 25-metre pool over a 26-week period. Speaking for Caroline and the club, Secretary Gareth Roberts said: “This challenge gives Caroline a goal to focus on during her swim sessions at Seahorse. “She shows lots of determination every time she gets in the pool knowing that her efforts will benefit Hope House, which is close to her heart.” Inspiring Our fundraiser Claire said: “Caroline is such an inspiring woman and valued member of our team. “We’re so grateful of her extra efforts on top of volunteering in our Nantwich shop. “We’re all right behind her every length of the way and know she’ll reach her goal. “Go on, Caroline.” Sponsor Caroline Manage Cookie Preferences
