Time slots: 5:00 - 6:30pm and 7:00 - 8.30pm
Location: Hope House Chester Shop, 52-56 Frodsham Street, Chester

Prize: Each winner will receive two tickets (one for themselves and one for a guest). 
Winners: There will be two winners, with one winner allocated to each time slot. 

 

What to expect:

Enjoy a relaxed evening filled with fashion inspiration, including live styling demos and expert tips and tricks from Jen herself, featuring handpicked items curated by Jen, along with a handful of clothes donated by Jen herself!

Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter

This competition is organised by Hope House Children's Hospices (“the Promoter”) and will be hosted by Charity Shop Girl Jen Graham ("the Host").


2. Eligibility
  • The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
  • By entering, participants confirm they are 18 years of age or older.
  • Guests attending the event must also be 18 or over.
  • Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
  • Only one entry per person is permitted.

3. Competition Period
  • The competition opens on March 30th 2026 and closes at 11:59pm on April 6th 2026.

  • Entries received after this time will not be counted.


4. How to Enter

To enter, participants must:

  1. Complete the entry form on the Promoter’s website, providing:

    • First and Last Name
    • Address
    • Email address
    • Phone number
    • Instagram handle

  2. Confirm that they are following both Instagram accounts: 
    • @CharityShopGirlCSG
    • @HopeHouseTyGobaith

    1. Confirm they have read and understood:
      • These Terms and Conditions
      • The Promoter's Privacy Policy

    Entries that do not complete all required steps will be invalid.

    Marketing consent for Email and/or SMS is optional and not required to enter the competition.


    5. The Prize
    • The prize consists of two tickets (for the winner and a guest) to attend Rummage with Charity Shop Girl hosted by Jen Graham.

    • Event date: April 10th 2026

    • Location: Hope House Chester Shop, 52-56 Frodsham Street, Chester

    • Available time slots:

      • 5:00pm – 6:30pm

      • 7:00pm – 8:30pm

    The winner will be allocated a time slot at the Promoter’s discretion.

    • The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative is available.

    • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if necessary.


    6. Winner Selection and Notification
    • Two winners will be selected at random from all valid entries.

    • The draw will take place within 2 days of the closing date.

    • The winners will be contacted via email and/or phone.

    If a winner does not respond within 48 hours, the Promoter reserves the right to select alternative winners.


    7. Publicity
    • By entering, participants agree that the Promoters and the Host may announce the winner’s name and/or Instagram handle on its website and social media channels.


    8. Data Protection (GDPR)

    The Promoter will collect and process personal data for the purpose of administering this competition, including:

    • Name
    • Address
    • Email address
    • Phone number
    • Instagram handle

    This data will be used to:

    • Validate entries
    • Contact winners
    • Manage event arrangements

     Marketing

    • The Promoter may contact participants by mail or telephone about the work of Hope House, our events and ways in which you can support us. If you do not wish to hear from us by mail or telephone, please call 01691 671671 or emailing [email protected].
    • Marketing via Email or SMS will only be sent where the participant has explicitly opted in on the entry form.

     Data Retention

    • Competition data will be held only as long as necessary to administer the competition and event logistics, after which it will be securely deleted.
    • Marketing data will be retained in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and only where consent or legitimate interest applies.

     Participant Rights

    • Participants have the right to access, rectify, or request deletion of their personal data at any time.

    • The Promoter will never sell or swap personal data with other organisations.

    9. Liability
    • The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to technical faults or other issues.

    • The Promoter is not responsible for any travel or additional expenses incurred by the winners or their guests.

    • Attendance is at the participant’s own risk. The Promoter accepts no liability for loss, injury, or damage arising from attendance except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.


    10. General
    • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the competition where necessary.

    • Fraudulent, incomplete, or ineligible entries will be disqualified.
    • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram. Participants provide their information to the Promoter, not Instagram.


    11. Governing Law

    These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
